When you join CONY, you become a part of a dynamic organization whose members own and/or operate a majority of the finest campgrounds and RV parks in the Empire State. Founded in 1963, CONY has grown from a fledgling association to one of the largest single state campground association in the nation.

Who can join CONY?
CONY membership is open to any privately owned campground in the State of New York. A trade association, CONY does not inspect or rate its members (but does encourage them to achieve high standards). We accommodate both large and small campgrounds with our dues structure (based, in part, on the number of sites).

Why join CONY?
CONY seeks to do for members what they cannot effectively do for themselves, including:

PROMOTION
Using the CONY Campground Directory publication and online service, your campground gets noticed. The printed directory is widely circulated in nearly 40 RV and Sports Shows in the Northeast, CONY member parks, Chambers of Commerce, Convention & Visitor Bureaus, RV dealers and attractions. Display advertising is available at a reduced price to CONY members. CONY participates with tourism agencies and, as a member, your park will be listed with state and national camping publications.

You are also provided a listing on the NYCampgrounds.com and Go Camping America web sites. This listing provides prospective campers important information about your campground. What better way to be noticed than in the directory and on the web page.
