Campground Owners of New York (CONY), the trade association for privately owned campgrounds in New York State, will host its 48th Annual Exposition for the Outdoor Hospitality Industry, November 3 to 5, 2011, at the Sheraton on the Falls, Niagara Falls, New York.  The theme of the Exposition is "CONY-OPOLY," a play on the popular family board game, MONOPOLY.

The three-day event will feature educational seminars and networking opportunities for campground owners, as well as the annual meeting of the association. On Friday, November 4th, CONY will welcome Keynote Speaker Ruby Newell-Legner, founder of RubySpeaks, to present, "Seven Star Customer Service: starting at the top to impact the bottom line."

The Exposition will also include a trade show of suppliers showcasing their products or services for the campground industry. The trade show will take place Friday November 4th and Saturday November 5th.

On Saturday, November 5th, attendees will come together at a formal banquet to honor Randy S. Lehman, owner of Hickory Hill Family Camp Resort in Bath, New York, as he is inducted in the the CONY Hall of Fame. Mr. Lehman, who is also a Certified Public Accountant, is a longtime member of CONY, and is being honored for his volunteer work as the CONY accountant, his service as a campground owner, and his many other contributions to his community and the CONY association.

Special rates for lodging at the Sheraton on the Falls during the Exposition have been arranged. Booking information is available through the CONY office.

All campground owners and managers - including those not affiliated with CONY - are welcome to register and attend. Businesses interested in reserving a booth during the trade show, or sponsoring the Exposition are also welcome.
