Advertisers promoting outdoor recreation invited to participate

Pittsford, New York – Campground Owners of New York (CONY), a trade association of privately owned campgrounds in New York State, has partnered with Gannett Company – publisher of newspapers in Elmira, Binghamton, Westchester, Poughkeepsie, Ithaca and Rochester, NY – to create a special 12-page promotional insert focused on camping and outdoor recreation.

This insert will be hand delivered in the Gannett Sunday papers on May 18th to subscribers in those markets, with a potential readership of one million.

CONY is working closely with the ad sales department of the Rochester-based Democrat and Chronicle to coordinate the special 12-page camping/outdoor recreation insert layout and advertising sales. The insert will showcase New York camping and cabin rentals, as well as provide a platform for other businesses to reserve advertising and advertorial space to promote their outdoor recreation activities, products and services.

Published ad rates start at just $990 for a 1/8 page ad size (CONY members will receive a discounted rate). Reservation deadline is April 28, 2014.
